(Quang Binh Portal) - Renowned for taking beautiful photos inside the world"s largest cave of Son Doong, US photographer Ryan Deboodt is also well-known for capturing impressive shots of the miraculous caves in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, including Va and Nuoc Nut caves.

Tours to explore Va and Nuoc Nut caves, opened for tourists from July, has become a new and attractive destinations for both domestic and foreign tourists, who want to explore the "treasure" in the ground of Quang Binh.

Va and Nuoc Nut caves lie in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, the central Quang Binh province, a world natural heritage recognized by the UNESCO. Va – Nuoc Nut caves were surveyed and published by the British royal cave exploration association in 2000. Photographer Deboodt Ryan said he was most impressed by Va cave.

Va cave was also discovered by Ho Khanh, who found Son Doong. This cave is also very close to Son Doong. With a length of 1.7 km, the cave is praised by many experts as beautiful and unique thanks to the wonderful stalactites.

Right next to the Va cave is Nuoc Nut cave with a length of over 2.2 km and this is a river cave.

The "Va - Nuoc Nut Caves, diffirent experiences" tour is designed for two days and one night with increasing level of difficulty, including going through the forest, climbing the mountain, crossing the stream..

The entrance to the caves is a big challenge for tourists since it requires safe equipment and assistance from experienced professionals. While the entrance to Nuoc Nut Cave is at the bottom of a cliff, that of Va cave is a sinkhole in a small steep valley, surrounded by cliffs.

British royal cave experts said the stalactite system in these caves are very vulnerable. Visitors’ inattention can ruin the “masterpiece” of millions of years of nature.

Ryan Deboodt said he had also explored the caves of Tu Lan, Vom, Ruc Caroon, En and Trong in Phong Nha-Ke Bang, realizing that all of them are special with many unique values.

The US photographer has lived in HCM City for three years and has traveled to many famous destinations throughout Vietnam such as Da Lat, Hoi An, Da Nang, Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, the Mekong Delta … He shared, the people of Vietnam are always nice and friendly. He also expressed the hope that the landscapes of Vietnam will forever remain untouched and natural beauty.
