Nearly 800,000 visitors flocked to Quang Binh province in the first eight months, increased 2.9% from last year' same period; of which, international visitors reached nearly 25,000 (up nearly 23%), number of travelers reached more than 432,000, increased 6.4% from last year' same period. As estimated, tourism turnover reached nearly VND900 billion, increased nearly 11% from last year' same period.

In order to develop Quang Binh tourism to become a key economic sector, Quang Binh province plans to focus on exploiting new forms of tourism such as cave tourism and adventure tourism; pays attention to improving quality of tourist products in association with environmental protection; effectively exploits tourist sites such as Son Doong Cave, Thien Duong Cave, Phong Nha Cave, Tien Son Cave and new tourism routes.
