Son Doong Cave
Son Doong Cave, located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh province, is the world’s largest cave which was classified by the British Cave Research Association. It was made public in 2009 by a group of British scientists from the British Cave Research Association after they extensively surveyed the area.
Son Doong Cave is more than 200m wide, 150m high and about 9km long. Within its caverns lie a jungle and a river, and the cave is large enough to fit a 40-storey skyscraper inside.
