To turn tourism into a key economic sector, the province is interested in prioritizing resources and building mechanisms of favorable policies to encourage and call for investment in the tourism sector. In the 2016 - 2020 period, there are 04 projects invested from the Central source, including 02 projects belonging to the target program of tourism infrastructure development, 01 project using ODA capital and 1 project invested from the State Treasury's advance capital. Particularly, the road project from Eastern Ho Chi Minh Road to Tram Me ecotourism area (Phong Nha - Ke Bang) with the total investment of VND 59,732 million; the road project from Quang Tho crossroad (Ba Don town) to the sea square with the total investment of VND 94,794 million, time for project implementation in the 2016 - 2020 period; the project of tourism infrastructure development to support comprehensive growth in Greater Mekong Subregion - Phase 2, Quang Binh subproject with the total investment of VND 40,710 million, time for project implementation in the 2018 - 2024 period; ancillary works in Vung Chua Area with the total investment of VND 21,000 million is invested from the State Treasury's advance capital. These constructions have been investing and building, contributing to promoting Quang Binh tourism.

Besides, the projects belonging to the target program of tourism infrastructure development in the province have promoted their effectiveness. The tourism area of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has been approved the comprehensive planning to 2030 by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 2128/QD-TTg dated on December 29, 201; at present, 19 projects are implementing with the total registered capital of about VND 576,150 million.
