Quang Binh: inaugurate the gate of national historical relic of Trung Thuan resistance base
(Quang Binh Website) – According to the information from the Quang Trach district People’s Committee, in order to repair and embellish historical relic of Trung Thuan resistance base (between two communes of Quang Luu and Quang Thach), Quang Trach district has invested more than VND971 million to rebuild the gate of Trung Thuan resistance base, which is ranked as a national relic.
Trung Thuan resistance base is a land with many historical relics of Champa culture and of the regime of the Trinhs and Nguyens. This is a guerilla base of the August Revolution, a resistance base during nine years against the French colonialists and an important rear of the North to the cause of Southern liberation and national reunification.
The construction of Trung Thuan resistance base’s gate is to pay tribute of today’s generation to the history of our forefathers. This is a key project to welcome the Party Congress at all levels.
