More than 70,000 visitors flock to General Vo Nguyen Giap's grave

(Quang Binh Website) - In order to pay tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap, more than 70,000 visitors flocked to his grave in Vung Chua - Dao Yen area, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province on the Reunification Day (April 30), May Day (May 1) and May 2, according to the provincial Border Guards Headquarter.

The two-kilometre stretch of road linking National Road 1A to General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave in Vung Chua – Dao Yen area has been crowded by the stream of visitors and vehicles.
The report showed over 20,000 visitors in the Reunification Day, over 30,000 in May Day and over 20,000 in May 2.

The Border Guards Headquarter, related agencies and young volunteers of Ba Don town and Quang Trach district were present at several spots in the area to carefully guide and serve visitors.
