Phong Nha - Ke Bang attends Green Heritage Culture and Tourism Week 2013

(Quang Binh Website) - "The Green Heritage Culture and Tourism Week, meeting place of human and nature" (Green Heritage Week) was taken place at Vietnam Culture - Art Exhibition Center from November 19 to 23, 2013. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam and 18 provinces and cities nationwide.

The event aims to enhance public understanding of the values of Vietnam original cultural and natural heritage, especially those recognised by the UNESCO, to promote ecotourism, to lure international and domestic tourists, to stimulate domestic tourism, and to affirm the strength of Vietnam's tourism.

This is an opportunity for localities to exchange their experiences in preserving and upholding of the values of cultural and natural heritage, in harmonious development between human and nature in the biosphere reserves, national parks, nature reserves…

Attending the event, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park - world natural heritage hopes to spread the unique images of biodiversity, human and nature in the national park, especially Son Doong Cave - the world's largest cave, luring many international and domestic tourists to Quang Binh. In addition, a lot of books, tourist maps and brochures on Phong Nha - Ke Bang and Quang Binh free deliver to the visitors who want to learn about the land and people of Quang Binh.
