Boost tourism development cooperation in four North Central provinces

(Quang Binh Portal) - On April 13, the Coordinating Board of Tourism Development of four North Central provinces approved the Plan No.56/KH-BDP on tourism development cooperation between four provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.

Accordingly, localities will cooperate to boost tourism development through a series of activities, such as the Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi 2016, which is taken place in the Viet Nam Exhibition and Fair Centre at 148 Giang Vo, BA Dinh district, Ha Noi from April 14 to 17; the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City - ITE HCMC 2016 at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), from September 8 to 10; Thailand Travel Mart Plus, Chiang Mai (Thailand) from June 8 to 10.

Besides, the provinces will also design and develop trade name of four localities on the basis of common logo and slogan; coordinate to promote important events of four localities; associate to develop tourism products with two themes of the Central heritage road, the North Central ecological road and spiritual culture in association with responsible and sustainable tourism.

The Plan asked the localities to deploy tourism cooperation effectively, uphold the spirit of collaboration in implementing activities, mobilize the participation and assistance of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, EU project, international organizations and businesses in activities.

The Plan aims to uphold association in tourism promotion activities of four provinces, strengthen collaboration in building the policy of tourism managment and development, promote tourism products, develop human resources for tourism, build up trade name for tourism of four localities as an oustanding destination in Vietnam with many diversified products and high quality of services.
