The festival was part of a series of activities of Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week 2016, which was taken place in Dong Hoi city from April 28 to May 2.

This year's gastronomy festival attracted participation of 18 booths from 18 units and restaurants in Dong Hoi city. The booths were divided into two main areas, including 8 booths on the North and 10 in the South.

The booths displayed seafood dishes, folk cakes and other local specialities of Dong Hoi land.

Especially, four booths were designed to introduce new food products across the country, contributing to enrich the life of special local cuisines.

The festival lasted from April 28 to May 2 at Bao Ninh Sea Square, Dong Hoi city.
