"Quang Binh Tourism Month 2012" in the framework of “National Tourism Year of Northern Central Area – Hue 2012” will be taken place in June 2012 with a series of activities such as exploring cave system in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park; festival tourism; the traditional boating competition on Nhat Le river; cultural and artistic performances; a international trade fair between Vietnam, Laos and Thailand and so on.

The event aims to introduce tourist destinations of Quang Binh, promote tourism products and services, attract foreign and domestic tourists, call upon investors and improve awareness of all levels, agencies and localities of tourism sector's role and position to socio-economic development of the province.

Delivering a speech at the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung highly evaluated preparation work for Quang Binh Tourism Month 2012 and stressed that the organization board should promote work of propaganda; appeal to many enterprises for participation in the international fair; speed up preparation for photo albums, DVD disc and leaflets to spread the image of Quang Binh to foreign and domestic tourists; closely control and ensure food safety, environmental sanitation and social order and security during tourism month.
