More than 20,000 tourists flock to Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

(Quang Binh Website) - More than 20,000 tourists have flocked to world natural heritage, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park during Tet holiday, increased by 44% as compared with the same period last year. Especially, the tourist route "Phong Nha cave: discovery of 1,500m mysterious depth" and "Phong Nha - the First Cave Wonder” have attracted a large number of tourists.

In addition, the Phong Nha Tien Su Coc Tu temple in front of Phong Nha cave gate and the Revolutionary Martyr Temple at 20 Quyet Thang Road and Hang Tam Co (Eight-woman Cave) have drew thousands of people to pay a visit and burn incense, contributing to diversify forms of tourism in Phong Nha - Ke Bang heritage. 
As from being recognized as a world natural heritage by UNESCO (July 2003), Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has welcome more than 3,950,000 arrivals, of which over 98,000 international arrivals.

It is expected that Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park will welcome the four-millionth visitor on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as a world natural heritage which will be held in next April.

Also on this occasion, a new ecotourism route "Hang E - Survival Valley" with the beautiful landscapes will open to attract foreign and domestic tourists.
