Number of tourists to Thien Duong cave increased highly compared to the same period

In three beginning months of 2015, total number of tourists was estimated to reach 622.100 tourists, decreased 14.2% that of the same period last year, reported the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Of the tourists, 10.400 were international arrivals, an increase of 9.7% that of the same period last year.

Among tourists to Quang Binh, the total number of tourists staying overnight in the first three months were estimated to reach 196.300, an increas of 4.4%; of which travellers were estimated at 89.000, rose 2.2%; international tourists were estimated at 9.300, rose 20.1% compared to the same period last year, arrivals for spiritual tourism were estimated at 397.300, decreased 21.9% over the same period last year.

In the first three months of 2015, revenues from hotels, restaurants and tourism were estimated to reach VND427 billion, rose 20.7% against the same period last year; from travel VND21.3 billion, rose 87% compared to the same period last year.
