Accordingly, Nhat Le beach, located in Hai Thanh ward of Dong Hoi city, covers an area of 28.8 ha with 1.6km long sandy beach; Quang Phu beach, located in Quang Phu commune of Dong Hoi city, has an area of 6.3 ha with a 0.5km long sandy beach and Bao Ninh beach, located in Bao Ninh commune of Dong Hoi city, covers an area of 6.2 ha with 450m long sandy beach.

Recognition of Nhat Le, Quang Phu and Bao Ninh beach as local tourist attractions intends to expand tourist space in the province while making a highlight and effectively exploit potential of tourism of Dong Hoi city in particular and Quang Binh province in general.

The Provincial People’s Committee assigned Dong Hoi city People’s Committee and relevant agencies to direct and have effective measures to protect environmental landscapes, ensure security, order safety and sanitation, develop tourism resources, strengthen management on investment and construction of tourism infrastructures and create favorable conditions for tourists to attractions.
