(Quang Binh Portal) – After nearly a month of construction, a semi-artificial mountain climbing route at the gate of Toi (Dark) Cave has been completed to serve the mountain climbing competition (Top rope). This is a part of activities to mark the 2015 Quang Binh Cave Festival, according to information from the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Centre.

This is the Vietnam’s highest semi-artificial mountain climbing route with a height of 30m. The climbing route is funded by EVERESTViet with a participation of Mr. Phan Van Nhien, who won silver medal for mountain climbing at Seagame and is one of three Vietnamese men conquering the Mount Everest peak.

Under the plan, the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Centre will regularly host mountain climbing tour to attract international tourists, especially tourists who like adventourous games.

It is known that the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Centre is completing a dossier to submit to the Vietnam Records Organization for recognition of semi-artificial mountain climbing route at the gate of Toi Cave as “the Vietnam’s highest semi-artificial mountain climbing route”.
