The annual fair, co-organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association, Hanoi municipal People’s Committee and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, aims to draw more international tourists to Vietnam, as well as increase the number of domestic visitors to sea and island areas.

The VITM Hanoi 2016 is set to boost three sectors of tourism - Inbound, Domestic & Outbound. It offers opportunities for partners to study, promote and intensify coordination and links to develop more tourism products. The event drew the participation of 500 enterprises with 502 booths. Of these, 115 are international booths from 25 countries and territories and 387 are domestic booths from 42 cities and provinces in Vietnam.

The showroom of Quang Binh tourism lies in tourism linking complex of four North Central provinces, including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh with the theme "Four localities, one destination".

This is the fourth time Quang Binh has attended the Vietnam International Travel Mart. At these fair, many enterprises of Quang Binh province displayed their tourism products, introduced the images, films and handbooks to promote Son Doong Cave and sea tourism routes, especially Vung Chua - Yen Island, the resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap and other landscapes.
