With high potentials of tourism, Quang Binh has many advantages to exploit and develop many different forms of tourism, including sea tourism with beautiful and clean beaches such as Nhat Le, Bao Ninh and Da Nhay; cave tourism with a system of magnificent caves such as Phong Nha cave, Thien Duong cave, especially Son Doong cave - the world's largest cave; adventurous tourism with cave expedition, mountain climbing, trekking, kayaking... in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park and Tu Lan Cave.

In particular, Quang Binh is famous for Vung Chua tourist site, the resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap and historical relic of Tam Co cave.

In recent years, it has been proved statistically that Quang Binh has been regarded as a province that has great potential of tourism. The number of tourists to Quang Binh has seen a sharp increase with a growth rate of 100% each year. Specificially, Quang Binh welcomed one million tourists in 2013, two million in 2014 and nearly three million in 2015, including nearly 100,000 foreigners. In 2016, Quang Binh promises to welcome over 3.3 million tourists, including over 100,000 international arrivals.

In order to attract domestic and foreign tourists, Quang Binh has deployed a tourism stimulus program with a focus of a 30 percent cut in entrance fees at Phong Nha cave, Tien Son cave and Thien Duong cave to for tourists who stay at Quang Binh.

Besides, accommodation establishments have also registered a 20-40 percent discount for tourists, many restaurants have cut 10-20 percent in prices.

Especially, new destinations have also drew a large number of tourists such as "Discovery of Va - Nuoc Nut Caves, different experiences" tour, discovery tour of Thien Duong cave with the length of 7.000 metres, tourism route to explore Survival Valley - trans Dark Cave with the length of 6,000 metres, historical relic of Hoang Phuc - the old pagoda which has been restored with the large size in the Central region.

At the conference, travel agencies in Da Nang and Quang Nam put forward some ideals to Quang Binh tourism sector such as investment in construction of recreational areas and accommodation establishments; improving tourism environment and friendly of local people, contributing to tourist attraction.

Speaking at the tourism promotion conference, Mr. Ho An Phong, Director of the Department of Culture - Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh province stressed that Da Nang, Quang Nam and provinces of South Central Coast are important markets for domestic tourism development. Quang Binh province will try its best to make a new breakthrough in investment and construction of services and standard accommodation establishments and building a safe and friendly tourism environment, meeting the demands of tourists to Quang Binh.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture - Sport and Tourism also informed of some activities on Quang Binh tourism in July of 2016, including Quang Binh International Beer Festival, traditional boat-racing tournament with a participation of Laos and Thailand; yacht parade program on Nhat Le river and Nhat Le beach...
