According to Mr. Tran Tien Dung - Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee, this province has attracted the attention of filmmakers producing two international blockbusters including "Pan and Neverland" and "Kong: Skull Island". Most recently, Quang Binh has been also chosen as the background of two Vietnamese films consisting of "Immortal" and "Legend of Quan Tien".

The representative of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee said that the aforementioned films’ attraction and the advertising campaigns have brought good results in promoting the development of tourism in Quang Binh. In fact, a lot of tourist groups have come to Quang Binh with the desire to once again admire the spectacular and romantic scenes that appear in many movies, especially Hollywood ones.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Association of Film Promotion and Development had a working session with the leaders of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee. Through the meeting, the delegates expressed their desire that the province would continually have programs to introduce the potentials and strengths of the natural landscapes, people, culture and history to attract filmmakers in the coming time. The association also hoped that the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee and other departments, branches and localities would create favorable conditions for film crews to make cinematographic works, contributing to promoting tourism development to domestic and international tourists.

The main background of the film “Legend of Quan Tien” in Quang Binh

Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan; Former Director of the Cinema Department, currently holds the position of President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Film Promotion and Development; said that the association would collect investors to promote the development of Vietnamese cinema; individuals and organizations to support production, joint venture activities with domestic and international filmmakers, expand markets, promote Vietnam's film brand and the film backgrounds to the world.

Along with that, the association will also focus on training and improving film human resources; and promote Vietnam's tourism through film backgrounds.
