Addressing at the conference, Vice - Chairman of the provincial People's Committee warmly welcomed tourism and travel businesses came to Quang Binh to attend the program for linking and cooperation of tourism "Quang Binh - Safe and distinct destination”, at the same time, he emphasized that in recent years, Quang Binh tourism has developed intensely, became a well-loved destination of domestic and international tourists. However, due to the impact of Covid-19 epidemic, Quang Binh Tourism industry in particular and the whole country in general were seriously affected, therefore, via this conference, he desired that tourism and travel businesses would promote promotion, cooperation and seek markets to lure more tourists to Quang Binh.

At the conference, travel businesses and agencies affirmed that Quang Binh would be a place attracts a large numbers of tourists in the near future. In particular, with the advantage of geographical distance, convenient transportation, Quang Binh is one of the indispensable destinations in the programs and product packages of travel agencies for domestic tourists.

Previously, nearly 80 leading travel companies in Hanoi and Da Nang City conducted survey of Quang Binh tourism destinations at visiting sites such as: Tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Paradise Cave, Mooc springs, Zipline Chay River - Dark cave and accommodation services, catering services at hotels, resorts, restaurants which were qualified to serve tourists in Dong Hoi city and Phong Nha town ( Bo Trach district).

Reportedly, in 5 months of 2020, due to the severe impact of Covid-19 epidemic, the number of tourists to Quang Binh was estimated at 653,700, of which international visitors were estimated at 50,330. After openning the door to welcome tourists again, Quang Binh tourism has begun to recover, the number of visitors coming on weekends started to increase. To meet with tourism activities under new conditions, Quang Binh Tourism industry has directed tourism businesses in the province to change the structure of the visitor market, shifting products serving international visitors to serving domestic tourists, diversifying tourism products with reasonable prices...
