National Geographic Magazine (America): introduce about Son Doong Cave

(Quang Binh Website) - On December 17, the National Geographic Magazine (America) broadcast Son Doong, the world’s largest cave on their website. Son Doong Cave (Quang Binh) was discovered by the British Royal Cave Society in 2009 in Phong Nha – Ke Bang World Natural Heritage.

Immediately after that this cave is paid much attention by press agencies of BBC, CNN, AP and AFP. A splendid photo was taken by Carsten Peter, a photographer, in May, 2010, depicting a slice of Son Doong at about 91.44 meter wide, cave arch is nearly 243.84 meter high – can contain a forty-storey building of New York City (America).
The British Royal Cave Society affirms that this is the world’s largest cave with 9 kilometers in length.
