The total of tourists were an estimation at 23,345 arrival, increased by 104.5% from last year' same period, of which international visitors were 2,530 arrival. The number of tourists to Thien Duong Cave and Phong Nha - Ke Bang Cave reached 40,345 arrival increased by 51% from the same period last year, of which international visitors reached 1,187 arrival. Concretely, there were 20,000 visitors to Phong Nha - Ke Bang, increased by 53%, 3,000 to Nuoc Mooc Spring, increased by 120% and 17,000 to Thien Duong Cave, increased by 40%.

On the occasion of these holidays, Dong Hoi city also organized Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week 2013 with a wide range of activities, including musical performance, street parade, gastronomy, traditional women volleyball tournament, swimming race on Nhat Le River, kite competition on the beach and other folk games.
