An US famous film crew and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts shot scenes for the movie "Kong: Skull Island" at Phong Nha - Ke Bang and the 2nd return of director Jordan Vogt-Roberts in 2016 with an excursion of Son Doong Cave through "The Great Wall of Vietnam", aiming to promote values of the heritage.

With the remarkable achievements obatined in 2016, Phong Nha - Ke Bang tourism in 2017 is expected to achieve a strong development and becomes the tourism heart of Quang Binh.
