Promote unique beauty of Son Doong Cave at 28th SEA Games

(Quang Binh Portal) – The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh will launch a tourism promotion program of unique beauty of Son Doong Cave during his visit to Singapore for the 28th SEA Games, according to the information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Mr. Howard Limbert, an expert from British Cave Research Association, who is the leader of the caving expeditions to Son Doong Cave, will introduce about the tourism potential of the caves in Quang Binh province. Mr. Howard Limbert, along with the Singapore Corporation of Television, will discuss a plan to film Son Doong Cave and broadcast it on Channel 5.

This will be a good opportunity to spread unique beauty of Son Doong Cave to international visitors and friends, helping to attract tourists to Quang Binh province and promote socio-economic development.

The 28th SEA Games, the largest sport event in the South East Asia region, is held in Singapore from June 5-16, gathering 7,000 athletes from 11 countries in the region and thousands of visitors from the countries in the world.
