Currently, Quang Binh is one of attractive destinations for international and domestic visitors. In 2014, number of tourists to Quang Binh reached a record with 2.7 million.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman stressed the province’s potential and strengths about system of caves, restaurants, hotels and tranport. Chairman also pointed out some shortcomings such as quality of services, lack of restaurants and hotels, environmental sanitation, food hygience and serving attitudes.

In the coming time, tourism will become a key economic sector of the province, hence, the tourism enteprises, restaurants and hotels need to discuss effective solutions for tourism business and co-ordinate with the province to promote the policy of socilization in tourism development, Chairman said.

The meeting spent much time on listening to contributions and suggestions about the related issues such as development of electric car, services, entertainment areas, ticket price for visiting caves, registration for visitors who stay overnight, infrastructure construction, environmental sanitation, food hygience and car parking.

On behalf of provincial leader, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also shared difficulties with the enterprises and provided some information on the projects calling for investment in the fields of entertainments and golf course as well as had specific directions for the enterprises’ suggestions.
