Quang Binh welcomes 125,000 visitors on Tet holiday

 (Quang Binh Portal) - 125,000 travelers visits tourism sites across Quang Binh province during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday (February 6-14), reported the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Among visitors, international arrivals were estimated to reach 3,000 visitors.

 
New tourism product in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

This year, the number of visitors to Quang Binh province has seen a sharp increase in comparison with previous years.

The most popular destinations included General Vo Nguyen Giap's resting place, Phong Nha Cave, Thien Duong Cave, Tam Co Cave, Hoang Phuc pagoda, Lieu Hanh temple, Than Dinh Mountain, etc.

Besides, some cultural activities have been also ogranized to lure visitors during Tet holiday, including a Spring fair in Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center, sports, recreational activities in the districts, town and Dong Hoi city... contributing to bringing a lot of interesting experiences for visitors.

In particular, on the third day of the Lunar New Year, a group of international visitors successfully joined in adventure tour of "Conquering Son Doong - the world's largest cave".
