Accordingly, the festival will take place at Hoang Phuc pagoda historical relic in Thuan Trach village, My Thuy commune, Le Thuy district on February 27-28, 2016. A series of main activities include water procession ceremony, the opening ceremony, indoctrination ceremony, art performances, letting out flower garlands and coloured lanterns and folk games such as bai choi, keo co, volleyball and chess.

The Hoang Phuc pagoda festival aims to improve the spirit of responsibility of all levels, agencies and people in preserving, protecting and upholding cultural values of historical relics and landscapes in the district as well as strengthen investment in embellisment and restoration of historical and cultural relics, contributing to promoting efficiency of tourism potential, socio-economic development in fast and sustainable way.
