Organized by the Quang Binh Tourism Association in an effort to bring visitors a new, positive tourism image after a number of environmental incidents, the sailing performance will also include several engaging activities.

This is also a chance to popularize tourism destinations, contributing to effectively implementing the tourism stimulus program 2016, and attracting more tourists to Quang Binh province.

The Provincial People's Committee also asked the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism; Department of Transport; the Dong Hoi city People's Committee; the Quang Ninh district People's Committee and related agencies to create all favorable conditions for the Provincial Tourism Association to effectively organize the 2016 sailing performance with remarkable results.

Reportedly , the event, the first of its kind in the province, runs from July 13 to 20 at Nhat Le Beach in the provincial capital city of Dong Hoi. The European-style catamarans, featuring a four-meter mast and measuring three meters in length, are made of new material PPC (Copolymer Polypropylene Polystone).

Participants will be able to partake in a simulation tour which allows them to be a sailor, or watch the parade of sail from the lighthouse to Quan Hau Bridge.
