Signing agreement on tourism connection between the three tourism associations

The three provinces of Binh - Tri - Thien are regarded as a region with a abundant tourism resources on nature, culture and human history. The three provinces currently possess the Phu Bai international airport and the Dong Hoi domestic airport; lie in the East - West Economic Corridor, linking with Laos and Thailand via border gates such Cha Lo and Lao Bao; have a long coast line with many beautiful beaches, especially the world natural heritage site, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park; the world cultural heritage, Hue Ancient Capital Complex; the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Nha Nhac - Hue Court Music, Nguyen Dynasty Wood Blocks, Ca Tru, etc.

In recent years, the tourism industry of the three provinces has achieved a fast development, making a stamp on the world tourism map, especially international-ranked tour of Son Dong Discovery. Besides, the provinces have also organized some tours to connect tourism such as Central Region Heritage Road, Ho Chi Minh Legendary Road, tourism routes along the East - West Economic Corridor, etc.

At the tourism connection meeting, leaders of the tourism industry of Binh - Tri - Thien provinces expressed their high determination to have effective solutions to uphold the strength and promote development of tourism industry.

In addition, representatives of tourism business units from the three provinces also made a great contribution to development of tourism products with specific traits such as cave tourism, historical relic, visiting old battlefields, tourism for medical treatment, etc; speeding up propaganda and popularization, improving quality of services and human resources, etc.

Also at the meeting, the provinces have signed an agreement to connect tourism development between the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, Quang Tri Provincial Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism and the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Department of Tourism, and inked a general association agreement between the three tourism associations.

Besides, the tourism business units of the three provinces also signed a Memorandum of Understanding and contracts on service supply in the forthcoming years.
