"Quang Binh Tourism Month 2012" will host a series of activities throughout the year and rush from April to June 2012 to promote tourism and introduce unique and special tourist products, especially tourism activities on exploring caves in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, contributing to luring international and domestic tourists to Quang Binh.

Main activities of Quang Binh Tourism Month 2012 includes cave exploration tourism (tourism route discovery of Rao Thuong - Hang En, Phong Nha Cave with a depth of 1,500 meters, Hang E and Survival Valley); festival tourism (Mua Bong - Cheo Can festival, Fishing Praying festival); the traditional boating competition on Nhat Le river; cultural and artistic performances; the international trade fair of Vietnam, Laos and Thailand aiming to introduce and promote tourism products and a gastronomy week to display special dishes of Quang Binh.

The event also aims to improve the awareness of local authorities and communities about the role and position of tourism sector to socio-economic development of the province; promote socialization in tourism activities of organizations and enterprises, contributing to bringing tourism sector to develop in sustainable way.
