20,000 foreign visitors travel to Quang Binh in first quarter
(Quang Binh Website) - Quang Binh welcomed 832,000 tourist arrivals in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 371% from a year ago, of which foreign arrivals of 20,000, up 228%, according to information from the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee.

The number of tourist arrivals to Quang Binh sharply increases thanks to the efforts made by the tourism sector in linking new tourist routes, developing many forms of tourism and providing new tourism products to tourists.
It is expected in the second quarter of 2014, the number of tourist arrivals to Quang Binh is higher than the first quarter.
In the forthcoming time, the province will host a series of cultural and tourism activities to celebrate the 410th anniversary of the establishment of Quang Binh province, the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Dong Hoi City and the 2014 Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week.
