Apply the policy for payment for forest environmental services in tourism in Phong nha - Ke Bang National Park
Based on regulations of the Forest Protection and Development Law and Decree No.99/2010/ND-CP on the policy for payment for forest environmental services, the Management Board of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park will apply the policy for payment for forest environmental services to tourism activities in Phong nha - Ke Bang National Park (apart from tours and spots managed by the organizations and individuals).
Accordingly, organizations and individuals doing business services in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park are required to pay for forest environmental services based on the voluntary negotiated agreements. Regarding organizations and individuals visiting the park are required for direct payment in the forest mamagement stations before visiting the park.
The minimum entrance fee is 40,000VND per person.
This new policy will apply some spots along Highway No.20, bird watching, waterfall... this policy waives for visitor visiting Paradise cave, Nuoc Mooc, and other established adventure tours.
The implementation will become effective as from February 1st, 2014.
