Tourists flock to Phong Nha Cave

(Quang Binh Website) - In the past days, the number of tourists flocked to Quang Binh province for sightseeing because of cool weather. Almost hotels and guest houses in Dong Hoi city (with more than 1,200 rooms) were full-booked till May 1st.

Such state and private hotels as Phong Nha, Huu Nghi, Dong Hoi and Phuong Nam were no longer room. The Sun Spa Resort tourism area in My Canh with over 230 rooms was also full-booked, in which many international tourists.

This year, apart from tourists from Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang, Quang Binh attracted many tourists coming from Hai Phong, Ha Tay, Thanh Hoa and Binh Duong.

The number of tourists to Quang Binh mainly visited to Phong Nha Cave and Tien Son Grotto. According to the Cultural and Ecological tourist Center of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, many tourists have flocked to Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage since April 29.

The center also took tourists for sightseeing of some tourist sites, such as voluntary youth statue (in Son Trach commune, Bo Trach) and Tam Co Cave in Km 16 of Road No.20 (along the Ho Chi Minh trail).

Tourists not only came to Phong Nha, but also visited some historical relics and landscapes in Dong Hoi city, such as Nhat Le beach, Dong Hoi rampart, Bao Ninh village and Suot Mother statue, etc.
