Before 2012, Chay River - Toi Cave only received approximately 500 tourists, however, thanks to investment in infrastructure system and quality of tourist services, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center has exploited Toi cave with a difference, creating a unique tourism product which is not similar with any caves.

Especially, Chay River - Toi Cave is known as the first destination in Phong Nha - Ke Bang that has special tourism product for winter season named "Toi Cave - Winter is not cold", contributing to break through monotonous and occasional exploitation in tourism season.

In 2015, Chay River - Toi Cave tour welcomed over 40,000 tourists, including 70% of international arrivals. Total revenues achieved nearly VND 15 billion, an increase of 500 times against 2012.

In the six beginning months of 2016 alone, Chay River - Toi Cave tour attracted 28,000 tourists, an 40 percent increase against the same period of 2015.
