Quang Binh to promote tourism in Thailand

(Quang Binh Website) - A tourism promotion conference was held in Nakhon Phanom on November 25 to popularize tourist attractions of Quang Binh province to the provinces in northeast Thailand.

The event was hosted by the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh province with the participation of the tourism information and promotion center and travel companies in the province.

The event is an opportunity for Quang Binh tourism sector and northeast Thailand provinces to exchange experience, promote cooperation and lure investment to develop tourism in future.

At the conference, representatives of Quang Binh province introduced potential, strength and attractive destinations of the province, especially Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park with adventure tour of exploring Hang Son Doong - the world largest cave and Tu Lan caving tour. Quang Binh travel companies also committed to improve quality of tourism services and have preferential policies for Thailand travel companies to Quang Binh.

Quang Binh - the land has a lot of potential to develop diverse forms of tourism such as ecotourism, sea tourism, adventure tourism, caving tourism and spiritual tourism. In recent years, Quang Binh has become a tourist destination to foreign and domestic arrivals. In October 2013 alone, Quang Binh received over 1.1 million visitors, of which more than 35,000 international arrivals.
