Tourism route of Hang Va and Hang Nuoc Nut surveyed

(Quang Binh Portal) – The Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh province has recently made a field survey to Hang Va and Hang Nuoc Nut to improve the project of exploiting tourism route of “Hang Va - Hang Nuoc Nut, different experiences” before submitting it to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval.

Participants included members of the Economic and Budget Department of the Provincial People’s Council, Office of the Provincial People’s Committee, Department of Finance, Management Board of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Tourism Information And Promotion Center and Oxalis Adventure Tours Company.


Hang Va

Hang Va and Hang Nuoc Nut are located in the core area of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. It was surveyed and announced by the British Cave Research Association in the 2000s.

These are two unique caves with a system of strange stalactites and fossils. It is believed that this tourism route will be a new attraction, bringing interesting experiences for visitors who like exploration and adventure.

The route is designed for two day and one night tour with a series of activities such as trekking along the trails in the primative forests, crossing rivers and streams. Thus, visitors will have to prepare a good health if they want to experience this tour.

British scientists said that Hang Va and Hang Nuoc Nut have a system of unique but easily damaged stalactites; the entrance to the cave is also a big challenge for visitors, thus it is necessary to have safe equipments and experienced experts for assistance when joining in this tour.

After the survey, tourism route of Hang Va - Hang Nuoc Nut, different experiences” is expected to launch in July, 2015 to mark the cave festival of Quang Binh province.
