The event was attended by leaders of two departments and representatives of relevant units together with 70 tourism enterprises of Quang Binh and Lam Dong provinces.

At the conference, representative of the Quang Binh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism introduced about tourism potential and strengths of the province and informed of the results that the province's tourism sector obtained in the past time.

In the 2011-2015, Quang Binh tourism have reached a high growth. The number of visitors to Quang Binh reached nearly 9.2 million, an average increase of 37% a year; total turnover from tourism gained VND 9,840 billion, an average increase of 54%.

In particular, the tourism sector has been defined as a key economic sector of the province, striving to bring Quang Binh to be a tourism hub of Vietnam and Southeast Asia region by 2020.

Also at the conferece, two sides agreed to ink a cooperative program on tourism development. Accordingly, two sides will cooperate to develop in five fields, including State management on tourism; planning and investment attraction; development of tourism products; tourism promotion; training and development of tourism resources.

Two sides also agreed to quickly put forward the idea to open a new air route of Dong Hoi - Da Lat.

In the framework of the delegation, on October 11, the Quang Binh delegation also paid a visit to some sites in Da Lat city to learn about the management models of natural tourism and agricultural tourism.
