On the side of Quang Binh province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Dang Quang led his delegation to participate in the event.

At the seminar, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a meeting with governor of Kanagawa province Nari Kudo Riwa, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan Nguyen Quoc Cuong and representatives of businesses and travel agents from Japan.

Speaking at the seminar, Secretary Hoang Dang Quang introduced the province’s advantages and potential, along with incentives for Japanese firms to do investment. Especially, Secretary noted Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO-recognised world's natural heritage, is an attractive destination to tourists and investors.

Known as the "Kingdom of the cave", Phong Nha - Ke Bang area has a group of over 300 multi - shaped caves, where there is a mystery of wonders and attraction, a paradise for scientists in caves, explorers and tourists. Along with the miraculous cave system, the Trooc river, Chay river and Son river in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park region with the fresh blue streams winding among the rock mountains with forests, have created a poetic beauty as a magnificent water – color painting.

Quang Binh has a coastal line of 116 km with many beautiful, green and clean beaches which takes it easy to develop tourism in. It has also been given some mineral water springs, especially the water of the Bang spring up to 1050C, therefore, it is quite favorable for tourism development; beautiful wide forests, long seashore, rivers and much landscapes from the nature together with historical relics and cultural heritages. Quang Binh people are also friendly, hard working and hospitable. The New York Times (US) ranked Quang Binh at the 8th position in the list of 52 attractive destinations in the world and 1st position in the list of 12 destinations in Asia.

Representatives of travel agents of Kanagawa province and Quang Binh province had a discussion on tourism development and cooperation in the furture. Especially, delegates from Japan had a strong impression on Quang Binh tourism, including Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.

At the seminar, leader of Quang Binh province also pledged to create the best conditions for Japanese tourists and investors to visist and do businesses in the province.
