Dong Hoi city to pilot tourist electric cars in May
(Quang Binh Portal) - This important information was released at Decision No.1455/QD-UBND dated April 28 of the Provincial People"s Committee on launching an electric car tourist service in the downtown area on a pilot basis in May.
This electric car tourist service is provided by the Dong Thanh Trade and Tourist Transport Service Cooperative.
Accordingly, the project's goal is to meet the traveling demand of tourists for visiting scenic spots and tourist destinations in the city.
20 electric cars will be deployed for this service at 27 routes, carrying visitors to the city’s 42 tourist attractions in the downtown area.
The cars will operate from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm every day on summer (April 1st - September 30) and from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm on winter.
Duration for running on a pilot basis is 20 months from May of 2017 to December of 2018.
