Accordingly, the Quang Binh Cave Festival 2017 will include a series of attractive activities such as an art programme themed "Kingdom of caves, magnificent - legendary" and the receiving ceremony of the world records title, which will be taken place in Bao Ninh Sea Square, Dong Hoi city at 20:00-22:00 on June 17; the opening of new routes, tourist sites, accommodation establishments and tourist services; the organization of the Amazing Race to explore unique natural beauty of Phong Nha - Kingdom of caves, including sport activities (bicycle - jogging - swimming across the river) with the distance of 50km in combination with charity activity with a participation of 50 athletes; the launching of tourism stimulus and promotional tours, especially tour of "Discovering Kingdom of Quang Binh caves - different experiences" with a 10-20% discount in all products and services for tourists to Quang Binh from June 16-25, 2017.

Besides, the festival also includes the programmes to conduct destination surveys in Quang Binh (famtrip, presstrip) and develop tourism products via new air route of Cat Bi - Donghoi; sailing racing and parade, kayak racing and underwater sports in Nhat Le beach; cultural and tourism exchanges between Quang Binh and Hai Phong with a range of activities such as cuisines, Ho khoan Le Thuy performance, water puppet performance, street music with the participation of many famous artists and approximately 1,500 people at Dong My Park, Cultural Center, Nhat Le beach, Sunspa Resort from June 16-19.

The Quang Binh Caves Festival 2017 aims to introduce and promote the culture, tourism, and unique value of cave system in Quang Binh, attracting more investors, visitors, local and foreign tourists, and contributing to promote the economic development of the province.

It also improves awareness of people, especially young generation, in actively taking part in protecting and preserving values of heritage and culture in a sustainable way.
