A cuisine program entitled ''Huong que Nhat Le'' kicked off

(Quang Binh Website) - In the framework of the Quang Binh Culture - Tourism Week 2011, the Dong Hoi City People’s Committee on June 5 kicked off a cuisine program with the themed "Huong que Nhat Le" (Taste of Nhat Le hometown) at the Nhat Le Beach No.1.

The city’s leaders paid a visit to culinary booths

The event was gathered by 9 booths from enterprises and establishments of production and business in the city.

At the cuisine program, the booths display traditional dishes from different regions like banh cuon (steamed rolls made of rice-flour), banh beo (bloating fern-shaped cake) and banh loc (cake made of finest flour), and seafood like cuttle-fish, oyster and fish, etc.

This is the opportunity to introduce about culinary art and special food of each locality, create an environment to exchange and learn about culinary culture and introduce tourists, especially foreign tourists about culinary culture of Vietnam in general and Quang Binh in particular.

The cuisine program will be lasted from June 5 to June 8 2011.
