Quang Binh to promote tourism in Ho Chi Minh City

(Quang Binh Website) - In order to popularize the 10th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as a world natural heritage site and the Quang Binh Cave Festival 2013, the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh province on March 8 held a meeting to promote tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event was attended by Mr Nguyen Huu Tho, Chairman of the Vietnamese Tourism Association; Mr Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee; representatives of relevant departments and branches together with more than 150 travel companies from Quang Binh and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the meeting, representative of the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh province displayed potentials, advantages and specific tourism products of the province such as exploration tourism, cave tourism, ecological tourism and sea tourism...

The meeting is to spread the image of Quang Binh tourism and its global values of world natural heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park to tourists and investors. This is an opportunity for Quang Binh tourism businesses and travel companies in Ho Chi Minh City to exchange and share experience to strengthen tourism cooperation in the coming time.

Quang Binh is endowed with unique landscapes, especially world natural heritage site, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park with a system of grandiose caves and its global values on biodiversity. Besides, Quang Binh has a coastal line of 116 km with many estuaries and beaches, many historical - cultural relics and a system of convenient transportation. These are favorable conditions to draw tourists to Quang Binh.
