Among tourists, international arrivals are expected to reach more than 42.000 tourists, rose by 17 percent from the same period last year. Total tourism revenues are estimated at nearly 2,700 billion, rose by 0.7% against the same period last year. The coefficient of tourists for staying overnight is estimated at 1.13 days per tourist.

In the past time, the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism has focused on State management, tourism promotion and effectively exploiting some new tourism products such as Tien Cave, Va Cave – Nuoc Nut Cave…

Besides, the tourism sector has also paid attention to promoting the programs to popularise about the land and people of Quang Binh, especially Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, on mass media on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the founding of tourism sector.

In order to lure many investors and tourists to Quang Binh province, in the forthcoming time, the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism will focus on organising the Roadshow program and a tourism promotion conference in South Korea, aiming to spread the image of Quang Binh tourism to foreign tourists in South Korea and the North East Asia region.

In addition, the sector will also carry out a trip to learn about experience in community-based tourism model in Quang Nam province in order to strengthen cooperation on tourism development between two localities; take part in the tourism exhibition 2015 and tourism promotion in Khonhean – Thailand.
