Cha Lo - Heaven Gate
It witnessed the glorious feat of arms of Vietnamese people in the anti-American resistance war. This land has difficult terrain and grandiose mountain with a lot forest trees in a hustle.
This is the home for many kinds of precious timber, wild orchids, bamboo, valuable medicines and tropical forest products which make visitors astonishment when coming to Cha Lo - Heaven Gate.
Cha Lo - Heaven Gate is well-known as a historical relic in the anti-American resistance war. This is a key location of strategical road No.12A under the system of Ho Chi Minh road.
During the war years, the U.S. aggressors dropped this location hundreds of thousands of tons of bombs to prevent the transport fleet to support for the war in the South.
Over 30 years after the war, Cha Lo - Heaven Gate has become an international border gate of the country; the road 12A has been expanded; Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone has been built spaciously to strengthen economic exchange with neighboring countries.
Coming to Cha Lo - Heaven Gate today, tourists will see a new change; enjoy special food of Khua, May and Sach ethnic minority people; and participate in festivities of the nation. In addition, tourist will behold grandiose nature of Truong Son Mountain and relive the glorious days of this historical land.
