According to the report of the Steering Committee, the Steering Committee of the 5th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as the World Natural Heritage in the past time set up the plan for the anniversary, established the Management Board, studied and selected the place to organize the anniversary in Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district. Simultaneously, the Steering Committee also suggested the Art and Culture Institute to help the province provide a financial support and consultants to organize the Nghe temple festival in Son Trach; hold a conference press to announce the organization plan with the attendance of the press agencies inside and outside province. On the other hand, the Steering Committee assigned the Department of Trade and Tourism to work with the related partners to prepare for the trade fair and village fair.

At the working, representative of the departments discussed and offered some ideals to fulfil the plan for the anniversary, such as further the propaganda and popularization for the anniversary; hang banners and logo in main streets; make television reports of Phong Nha - Ke Bang to propagandize for the anniversary; organize the competition to learn about Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park and establish a voluntary tour guide team to serve tourists.
