"Quang Binh gastronomy and trade village specialties 2008" Fair will be taken place from July 24 to 27 July 2008 at the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Ecological - Cultural Tourism Center (Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district). Participating the fair has the stalls of six districts and city (Tuyen Hoa, Quang Trach, Bo Trach, Dong Hoi, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy), two enterprises (Quang Binh Fishery Import-Export Joint-stock Company and the Ha Noi - Quang Binh Brewery Joint-stock Company) and some stalls of neighboring provinces. At the fair, the localities and enterprises introduced traditional products, manifesting cultural characters of each locality such as Quy Hau hat, An Xa mat, Le Binh broom and Tuy Loc wine (Le Thuy); bamboo and rattan products of Quang Phuong commune, girdle cake of Quang Thanh traditional trade village (Quang Trach); handicrafts products of Long Do private enterprise (Mai Hoa, Tuyen Hoa); sweet potato of Hai Ninh sandy region (Quang Ninh)…

"Quang Binh gastronomy and trade village specialties 2008" Fair aims to display and introduce traditional products, trade village specialties and gastronomy of each locality, concurrently provide information, meet and exchange with craftsmen and partners. This is also a good opportunity to survey and evaluate the potential market of trade village and handicraft enterprises, helping the provincial State management body restore and develop traditional trade villages, propagandize and popularize the potentials and strengths of Quang Binh tourism.
