The event was attended by Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of departments and branches, among others.

The program included 15 performances with the participation of hundreds of artists from the Military Zone 4, Quang Binh traditional art troupe, Quang Binh University and local singers and artists.

The program depicted the hard but heroic struggle of Quang Binh people for national independence during the war. It also featured the development of Dong Hoi city 40 years after liberation to become a developed city with a lot of potentials, especially tourism potential.

Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week is an annual activity to uphold and honor values of traditional culture of the city residents. This is also an opportunity for all Dong Hoi residents to enjoy cultural values and introduce foreign and domestic visitors about potential for tourism development of the city, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the city in particular and the province in general.
