(Quang Binh Portal) – Smarter Travel, a famous travel website of the US has recently announced a list of 27 amazing natural wonders in Asia, including three destinations in Vietnam, named Ha Long bay, Son Doong cave and Can Gio mangrove forest.

This is the list of selection based on tourists’ ideas after their experiences in different destinations in Asia.

Accordingly, Ha Long bay in Quang Ninh province topped the list while Son Doong cave in Quang Binh province and Can Gio mangrove forest in Ho Chi Minh city ranked 19th and 27th respectively.

“Son Doong cave is the largest cave in the world – it’s more than 5.5 miles long and has its own jungle and river. Still, it wasn't even discovered until 1991, or fully explored until 2009”, said Smarter Travel.
Among 27 amazing natural wonders in Asia, Son Doong cave affirms its magnificent beauty of the world’s largest cave. It really becomes a desirable destination and a dream of visitors who like adventure, not only Vietnamese people.

It is known that the Oxalis Adventure Tours Company – adventure tour operators for exploring Son Doong cave, will organize tour of exploring Son Doong cave for 500 local and international visitors in 2015.

Among vistors, 145 tourists are from the US, 123 from Australia and 115 from Vietnam and other countries.

Son Doong cave tour is not a pleasure trip or vacation, it is an exploration trip being full of obstacles and challenges, hence it requires participants to have physical and mental abilities, goals and determination, stressed the Oxalis’s director.
