The Tu Lan cave system is located 70 km away from Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, a world natural heritage site in Quang Binh Province, central Vietnam. It is comprised of more than 10 caves, some of which were originally discovered and explored in 1992 and some of which were just found in the past couple of years.

In order to explore the Tu Lan cave system, explorers will have to trek through remote and untouched jungle; cross through buffalo fields; be surrounded by giant, looming, limestone mountains on all sides; and plunge into deep, cool, underground rivers that wind gracefully through mountains and river valleys alike.

Tours exploring Tu Lan caves began 2014 with three adventure tours, including Tu Lan one-day experience, Tu Lan cave encounter with two days and a night, wild Tu Lan cave explorer with three days and two nights. The price of the tours ranges from VND2 million to VND5.5 million, VND7.2 million, respectively.

Apart from Tu Lan caves, other caves closed in last monhts will also reopen to tourists in the forthcoming time. Concretely, En (Swallow) cave will also restart welcoming visitors on December 24 while Va and Son Doong caves will reopen on February 1, 2016.
