Tu Lan adventure race is to creat a new playground for those who love challenges and exploring, love to join nature conservation activities and want to provide community support. It also an opportunity to help promote Quang Binh tourism to domestic and foreign visitors.

This adventure-filled race combines racing along the untamed rivers in a traditional Doc Moc boat, jungle trekking, climbing up/down hills, exploring untouched dry caves, and swimming in underground cave rivers.

In April 2015, Oxalix Company coordinated with the Team Building VietMark Company to organize a pilot race for nine teams with 45 domestic and foreign participants. Especially, all benefits from Tu Lan adventure race 2015 and all teams were donated to build three libraries and three primary schools in Minh Hoa and Bo Trach district, worth VND60 million.

In 2016, Oxalis Company will be expected to coordinate with the Team Building VietMark Company, Jetstar Pacific Airlines and the Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper to organize the program entitled "Tu Lan Adventure Race 2016" which will be held in Rao Nan River and Tu Lan cave system in Trung Hoa and Tan Hoa communes of Minh Hoa district from April 1-3, 2016.

The adventure race is a competition of 100 people who are divided into 10 teams from provinces and cities throughout the country and the world. Participant fee is at VND6 million each. A percentage of all tickets will go towards the construction of 10 floating houses, which will help poor households in Minh Hoa district immensely during the flooding season.
