Especially, most of tourists paid visits to spiritual tourism destinations, temples, pagodas, the grave and commemorative house of General Vo Nguyen Giap with an estimation of 474.228 arrivals, an increase of 13,18% against the same period last year. Total revenues from tourism in the first quarter of 2016 reached VND785.595,44, grew by 197,50% against the year of 2015.

In the past time, the tourism sector has focused to develop Quang Binh tourism to become a key economic sector according to the Resolution adopted by the 16th Provincial Party Congress. Concretely, in the first quarter of 2016, Quang Binh tourism sector has directed enterprises, restaurants and hotels to work out the plan for welcoming tourists; attended tourism promotion festival in Ho Chi Minh City; actively updated information and spreaded the images of local tourism on the sector's website.

In addition, localities has also cooperated with photographers, reporters and film crews to make the television programmes, aiming to promote the unique beauty of local tourism, making a good impression on tourists.

Besides, King Kong film crew from Hollywood to Quang Binh has attracted many attentions to tourists to the province.

In the forthcoming, the tourism sector will conduct many solutions to develop tourism in association with security guarantee and safety for tourists.
