This was part of a series of activities to mark Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week 2016, attracting a large number of local people and tourists.

The "Cu" festival is a folk sport game, expressing the national cultural characteristics and the cultural beauty of Dong Phu ward as well as the sporting spirit and special folk properities of the nation through the generations.

The spirit of this festival is to pray for a year of peace, health and wealth.

The game includes two teams who compete for two competitions in 90 minutes. Once holding any ball, the player should throw the ball into the net hanging on a 4.3 meter pillar on their side the pitch.
